Transit Facilities - Commercial
The Trust has built a commercial transit facility right in the heart of the project which serves as a model for change from an unorganised chaotic market place into a well-planned modern shopping destination. The intent of this on-site transit is to ensure minimum displacement of business during the construction phase in other sectors while helping the diver mix of businesses get adapt to the traditional street shopping environment planned the future locality.
Another commercial transit facility - Mufaddal Shopping Arcade (MSA) - is built by the Trust to temporarily house shops which are part of the redevelopment project. MSA is in close proximity to the existing market place with higher visibility for the shops and an array of amenities to facilitate growth in business.
